Below is a Story i wrote about how I believe anthros came into our world, if they really did exist as they do in our roleplaying deviant art minds o u o

It all started in an underground laboratory deep in the heart of the Lone Star state. In a desert area of the state, far from any law or civilization, a community of rejected scientist thrived in a giant underground laboratory safe from government detection. This group of scientists all ended up in this underground laboratory, because they shared a similar dream in the makings of science that were deemed “unethical” and dangerous by both the government and science community around the world. These scientists wanted to use human experimentation to test and create the perfect being: an Anthro.

Though the world deemed any further investigation and experimentation with this project illegal and of the highest crime against human rights all over the world, for some biologists, the dream would not end there. They have worked their whole lives for the moment to have a chance to formulate and create an anthropomorphic being, and they were not going to drop their research and simply conform to the mundane works of modern scientists. They had a dream in mind, and with the help of a single man, these biologists were able to come together and create a private laboratory to try and fabricate their dreams of someday creating anthros, into a reality.

Aticus Serivaldi was the man who began this underground society of scientists. Aticus set his plans into motion and began to travel the world searching for loyal engineers and architects to privately hand craft an entire science department underground, and sustainable for housing people and their experiments. Finding the right people to build this eighteen story underground blueprint was a task within itself, but he successfully found a team and convinced them to build this lab at warp speed. While the architect began to build Aticus’ lab deep in a secretive location in Texas, Aticus set out to recruit those rejected scientists from around the world who shared the same dream. Once he discovered the first couple of scientists, gathering together all the other scientists that wanted to join Aticus in his wild dream was quite easy. By the time the lab was completed, Aticus managed to uncover around 720 scientists and present to them the lab of their dreams at the secret unveiling of the lab. Aticus was amazed himself when the tour of the lab begun. The lab was perfect with every detail. The first Eight floors resembled a five star hotel fitted with over 1500 luxury rooms and two floors specific to dining needs, medical emergencies and a tactical security team of trained spies and agents, better known as a species called Cobras, created and rejected by the government.

Cobras themselves are a successful biological experiment that broke out into a rebellion after working under the government’s oppression. Once free, a battle raged between Cobras and a newly released species, Angels, and the Angels won, forcing Cobras to live an incognito lifestyle and go into hiding from the government. Not only were these Cobras enticed to work at the lab as security agents, but also to serve as viable samples and experiments for creating the anthro species. Cobras are able to transform into a human, and are a crack-breed of many attributes morphed into one being, and the Cobras can change from feral to Human form easily, a vital clue in cracking the genetic code to create an anthro animal. So the question arises, If cobras could be created, why weren't anthros available? The government tried to create anthros, but the DNA was too dissimilar, The animal brain always overpowered the human intelligence, and the animals could not take on human attributes and transform between anthro and animal, so an entirely different animal was created instead that could adapt to the human attributes.

So, with this Cobra species at Aticus’ service, creating anthro being seemed more and more plausible.

Continuing with the tour, past the security floor, the next six floors were giant labs, each floor specializing in a crucial part of creating the anthro:
9th floor: Extracting samples, blood and DNA from test animals and humans
10th floor: Combining the animal and human DNA into a perfect formula for each breed of animal
11th floor: Creating eggs and sperm of the vital formula and creating fertilization
12th floor: Growing the embryos of successful fertilized anthro eggs
13th floor: Caring for the experiments while developing, birthing the experiments and raising the experiments to a healthy anthro adolescent
14th floor: testing the efficiency of the anthro experiment

The last four floors were reserved for housing the successful anthros created.

The exact goal of Aticus and him team were to basically create a Werewolf of chosen natural animals that could transform from feral animal to Anthropomorphic or “were-animals” at will, and possessed the intelligence of humans and the natural attributes of the feral animal. So with a single goal set, and the enthusiasm of the scientists, everyone began immediately working on creating these perfect beings as soon as the tour was over.

Months passed. Then years. Eleven years passed, and though some would be sure that the enthusiasm has faded, the scientists had even more motivation to keep pushing and trying, that they were almost at the brink of creating the formula with each day that passed by. The first animal the scientists chose to make into an Anthro was the wolf. Cobras were sent out to kidnap human women to extract DNA from, as well as Wolves to extract DNA from and carry experiments. specifically they first chose arctic wolves to focus on creating anthros of. After eleven years of experimenting with the wolves, finally, a female wolf successfully delivered pups that had been artificially inseminated with the anthro eggs. The birth was of pups happened as a normal wolf birth would go. the mother cared for the pups as she would her own, and the pups acted as normally functioning pups, and lived past the record time for usual experiments: four days. The pups continued to grow as wolves, and soon the pups were raised as successful adolescent pups at one year old. They aged as wolves do, and since the pups hadn't changed form, the scientists found it was time to reveal if the pups were successful anthros and could change to anthro form or not. The wolves definatly displayed signs of heightened intelligence and quick learning as human babies experienced, so the scientists left the human mom to take care of the one year old pups as if they were her own children. after about six months under the human mom’s care, the first anthro emerged: one of the pups changed into anthro form while trying to outrun his brothers and sisters in a playful race. The others soon followed (there were five wolves total,, three males and two female) and they all successfully were able to transform. After the first transformation, the mother continued to raise the anthro wolves, and soon the anthros learned english and picked up mostly all languages spoken to them from visiting scientists and controlled when they transformed. The wolves could only speak human language as anthros, but could also communicate with each other as wolves, in a new founded language of their own, far more intricate than the normal communication of feral arctic wolves. After hitting the age of three years old, the anthro wolves began testing to measure and discover all the abilities of the anthro and feral forms.

As soon as the first successful born anthros reached 3 months old, another batch of arctic wolves was already being inseminated into another mother wolf, and the excitement was enormous. After the second successful arctic wolf batch was born and raised, the second batch were raised to age 3 and tested as the first batch were. Both batches proved to carry the same remarkable results: as wolves, they were extremely intelligent, social, and picked up on the language created by the first anthros. The second batch could all successfully change to anthros, and learned all human languages they heard, and had amazing strength, agility and intelligence similar to the IQ of the scientists there working in the lab (very high c. SO with the second batch successful, they released the second batch to mingle with the first batch and waited to let them mate on their own. Both batches tested fertile, so the only question was how the batches would interact and if they would mate on their own.

The results of the combining of the two batches proved very interesting. The wolves were very very social, and developed very intricate relationships and bonds, as humans would. As they got older, they tended to stay in anthro form most of the time, unless they wanted to be feral for a bit or wanted to do things with each other as feral (such as play, make games). Their interactions were strikingly human, and the trace of primal animal and instincts were almost non existent, as they are in humans. Even as feral wolves, their mindset or behavior did not change, aside from physical boundaries (for example, if they ate food as wolves they did not try to pick it up with their paws or use utensils because it was physically difficult). After the two groups started growing older, after age three, their growth patterns were noticeably resembling the rate of human development. At seven years old, the group acted like seven year olds, at age twelve the anthros acted and had the physical health of a twelve year old human. These anthros had the life span of humans o-o

So the group grew together, and encountered lots of human interaction and educational lessons to develop their minds. At age 15 to 19, the group began to go through puberty as humans would, including the hormonal imbalances. The anthros seemed resistant to human diseases and illnesses such as flu or cancer, so there was no skin conditions such as acne present in the teenage anthros. There was however, heightened testosterone and estrogen. The females did develop breasts of varying sizes and curves as a usual human would, but did not have periods, but rather “heat” like a normal canine would. The males developed as male humans would, enhanced muscle build, voice dropped, and urge for mating growing strong. This stage scientists monitored crucially, for the behaviors that followed would determine the mating patterns of these anthros, how they mated and in which form, and if the females would get pregnant, and how. The genitals of both the male and females of their anthro form were those that a human would have. And while in feral form, they had the genital appearance of normal wolves.

So the anthros were given “privacy rooms” of which were monitored with cameras and fitted with a door and extra beds to provide a comfortable area to mate in in case a couple decided to mate. It seemed though the males and females were ready to mate all the time, and did so often, the females were not getting pregnant. The anthros mated in anthro form, and as humans would, and seemed just as passionate/emotional/varied as human sex is. The anthros often displayed human behaviors of love/friendship such as hugging and kissing, cuddling and normal affections you would see in human behavior, perhaps picked up by observing the relationships of scientists. Then, at the age 19 the females went into “heat” and suddenly the rate of mating increased substantially and between different partners and all four females were pregnant (there were 6 males and 4 females in the group).

The pregnancy process was extremely exciting and highly anticipated, for these babies would be the first natural born anthros ever to exist and the outcome of the births were a mystery. The females seemed to have the pregnancy span of humans, and three females carried a single child and one carried twins. So the liter count was similar to that of a human’s as well. The females never changed to feral form while pregnant. Finally after eight months, the first female went into labor. Scientists scrambled to help assist the birth of the pre mature baby, with newly hired medical staff on hand and ready for any complications. they only sent about four doctors/nurses to help deliver the baby so not to stress or overwhelm the mother. The delivery was like that of a human female’s, umbilical cord and all, and the first baby was revealed and what the scientists saw was spectacular: a gold and white male anthro wolf baby, with thin barely noticeable fur covering his body and anthro form. a month later, while under intensive care the baby turned out to be healthy and still with that odd coat color. The other three mothers went into labor within the same week and the results were just as odd: one mother had a female light purple and white wolf anthro, another mother had a blue and white wolf anthro, and the fourth mother had twins, one male black and gold with lace-like designs on its forearms, and one female purple and white with the same lace pattern on it’s forearms.

The scientists couldn't make heads or tails of this colorful phenomenon. But the babies turned out perfectly healthy, even the premature baby. The babies mimicked the form their mothers took, so if the mother changed to feral the babies would change to feral and vice versa, which was an odd but amazing phenomenon. They nursed from the mother’s breast milk and grew and developed as human babies would, besides the fact that the anthros learned a bit quicker than normal human babies. After about two years of age, the babies started to change at will and could speak, both the feral language and the human language the mother spoke (english).

So the dreams had finally come true. The very first accomplished generation of anthro beings were born, stronger and more intelligent and capable than ever imagined. The scientists were trembling with excitement and filled with pride and joy. So the scientists began an over time of developing and breeding many many species, most commonly wolves, foxes, cats, birds, big cats, horses and some reptiles. The anthros were always kept in the bottom floors, never seeing life outside of their holding areas on the bottom floors. The floors were well created, a general grassy knoll on each floor and artificial sunlight, and each animal had it’s own 8x8 “room” or cell, carpeted and furnished with a couch or hammock. There was a plumbing system, a toilet and sink in each room and a public shower on each floor. The scientists regularly visited, creating bonds and giving some human interaction for the anthros to adapt to humans. Life was well for the anthros, and the scientists were well off keeping the secret hidden from the world.

The scientists, confident in their abilities, then tried experimenting with different and more difficult animals, such as reptiles. They successfully hatched average anthro breeds of normal reptiles, but the Aticus wanted to take it a step further and create something unprecedented. . .dragon anthros.

The scientists were successful, but not after several failed outcomes. The first dragon created grew up to be a giant reptile, with the appearance of a western dragon and the ability to transform to anthro form. But it was both blind and deaf, and very aggressive because of its frustration with not being able to communicate. The scientists could not simply destroy the dragon (cremating it) because the dragon was too large and the energy and evidence of the remains would draw attention. So this dragon was detained in a large metal cage, tied down and bound the chains of metal and screaming and roaring for what felt like 24 hours a day, everyday.

At this point the scientists thought it would be best to stop, that all they ever wanted is already there in front of them, but Aticus wanted to continue experimenting. He ordered another “dragon” to be tested hatched, and this time it better be perfect. Afraid of Aticus’ sudden demands, the scientists carefully hatched another dragon, free of the deafness but not the blindness. Aticus was furious, and the scientists weren't sure what was making him act so intense and hellbent on creating a dragon. But they quickly worked around the clock to try and please him. finally the third dragon was born, free of disabilities. She was beautiful, a pure white dragon with feathered wings and purple eyes. She seemed mute, but the scientists withheld that information from Aticus, and he seemed not to noticed due to the excitement of how perfect she was. All three dragons were contained in iron cages and chained and bound because of their immense size and fear that they may escape.

While the dragons were being manifested, 3 years passed, and the original anthros went unmonitored and the population grew enormous, well beyond the capacity of the four floors full of individual rooms. The amount of food needed to feed the anthros was becoming a problem, and the constant pain of hearing the deaf/blind dragon’s roar made the anthros begin to wonder why they were there, where there may be more food or shelter, and what was torturing that creature in the basement, whatever that creature was. By this time, the anthros had their own native language as ferals, able to be communicated to mostly all species of anthro. Despite the solitary behaviors of some animals in the wild, all the anthros were very close knitted and social no matter what species, and all interacted with each other creating many different bonds and relationships. So they were all very worried about what will happen next, but rather than fight for food or shelter, they rationed and shared in a peaceful manner.

Eventually, the cramped space forced scientists to try and make more room, and with funds running low, they had to improvise because they could not afford to extend the underground building. so the scientists brought in steel cages, 6x2x4 feet, tiny cages that would barely hold an adult person and shipped them down to the floors of the anthros and stacking them on top of one another and next to each other to distribute the area of the room more evenly. The biologists told the anthros to climb inside or suffer. Trusting the scientists, they all began to file into the cages. the scientists then came down into the floors wearing gas masks and gassed the entire floors with knockout gas and quickly bolted each of the cages while the anthros were asleep. The anthros were outraged and frightened when they woke up, unsure of how they would use the bathroom without sitting in it, how they would eat or shower or get water. Most of the anthros changed to feral form to fit in the cages better, and some of the larger animals like horses, cow, moose, deer etc, were handcuffed and chained to a wall with their hands strapped above their heads all around the walls of the floor. When the anthros started to get thirsty, scientists came down with a hose and sprayed at the cages so the anthros could get some water that way. The anthros felt extremely degraded and awful, and were only given a pail to relieve themselves in, and were fed by showering the cages with calorie pills so the anthros would stay alive. This treatment went on for weeks. then months. 8 months passed and the treatment became a daily routine of outright neglect, and the beast still roared in the basement, adding to the torment.

By this time Aticus only cared for the precious white dragon. orders were to conserve water and food for the dragon only and distribute it’s scraps to the other anthros. Scientists were disgusted in them selves and felt guilty at first, but were then numbed by the fact that they were simply “taking orders”. With the lab going in the hole with funding quick, Aticus decided he should start to sell the anthros for profit. So first candidate was a female wolf with pink and maroon fur. The architect wanted her for his own personal enjoyment and so he rented her for a few hours a day. After her hours with the architect, she would return to her cage and tell the others of the god awful things he did with her, and also about the luxurious living space upstairs (referring to the scientist rooms). When the scientists started getting more and more requests and orders for anthros, the anthros grew afraid. Finally a black female leopard with multicolored spots decided they need to break free and started convincing others to inform everyone that the anthros need to escape soon, before they are taken advantage of and degraded even further. And so a plan was created, and after word reached all of the anthros on each floor, the plan was initiated the next day.

The maroon and pink wolf (named Lucy) was taken upstairs to entertain the architect, while distracted, she snuck his universal key into her mouth and hid it under her tongue. Once her time was up, she was inspected and returned to her cage. During that night, she snuck into the lab to retrieve the key that would unlock the the handcuffs of the large animals that were chained to the wall with cuffs (since she had seen where the keys for the handcuffs were stowed after she watched a scientist return from removing a dead deer anthro from its cuffs and put away the key). After successfully finding and retrieving the key, she returned downstairs to unlock all of the cuffed animals . Once free, the large animals traveled to the basement to try and unlock the basement floor and free the dragon. Their plan was to release the dragon as a distraction, and while all the scientists and security worked to detain the dragon, the anthros would take over the upper floors and detain the humans and Cobras. While the large animals were attempting to free the dragon, a couple of horse anthros followed Lucy back upstairs to help find keys that may possibly unlock the cages. During all this, the security system (the Cobras) were not a problem because they only patrolled the eighth floor and were there in case of escape, so patrolling the labs and anthros were deemed unnecessary by Aticus. So Lucy and the horse helpers looked frantically through all the lab floors, racing only against time. After and hour and 45 minutes of breaking open locked drawers, they finally sifted through the last drawer of the labs, and collected eight keys. With their search complete, they raced downstairs to start unlocking cages and finding the right key. One horse was sent downstairs to check the status of the dragon’s cage being opened, while Lucy and the other horse helper stayed to find the key to unlock the cages. While waiting for the status report, Lucy and her equine help, Esmerelda, worked quickly trying keys for the lock. After they each went through all of the keys, they discovered: none of the keys unlocked the cages. They tried again, still no key worked. The other horse came back with news that the dragon’s cage was open, and the anthros were now calming the dragon down and breaking loose his chains and many body restraints. This was good news, except for the fact that not a single caged anthro was freed yet, and the key to free them is still unfound. This meant there were maybe only 45 minutes left until the dragon was free and rampaging. Lucy and Esmerelda told the other horse help, Clint, what the problem was and so they began to try not to panic and sit and think: then Esmerelda asked where the universal key was. Lucy left it somewhere on the last floor and went to retrieve it. When she came back, she quickly tried the lock: it didn't work. Lucy began panicking. Clint took the key and tried it himself: It opened! The three were so elated, they shouted in glee and the floors of anthros roared with whispers of praise as they were soon to be free. The Cobras did not hear this because the floors are purposefully sound proof to avoid drawing attention from above ground, so the anthros were still in the clear. Lucy then began freeing the caged anthros, one by one. Though it was going smoothly, Lucy was quickly running out of time and had maybe ten minutes left before the dragon began making his way upstairs. So Clint turned into his feral form as a horse and began kicking at the locks. Amazingly, after only four bucks, the lock broke! So all the bulls, cows, donkeys, horses, zebra, wildebeest, elephants, rhinos and capable hoofed equines began from the bottom floor closest to the basement, and began kicking off the locks. the pace quickened immensely, but after freeing the eighteenth and 17th floor and working on the 16th floor cages, the deaf/blind dragon broke free. Anthros began quickly fleeing from the bottom floor and escaping the dragons path as he began thrashing and flying and escaping with excitement and joy. He escaped the basement and reached the 18th floor. then the 17th floor. As he was trying to bust through to the 16th floor, suddenly the banging stopped and only roaring was heard. Unaware that there was a second dragon locked in the basement, the anthros were relieved to find that a second dragon escaped her bindings and appeared, and held down the blind/deaf dragon while the anthros finished freeing the others. Even more surprisingly, the blind dragon spoke! As she held down blind/deaf dragon, she quietly and calmly spoke: “The humans are coming. They are coming to restrain us. hurry.” every anthro worked so fast to finish freeing the 16th and 15th floor, that it only took six minutes to finish the escape. The message was belayed to the blind dragon to release the blind/deaf dragon, and so she did. Despite being held down, the blind/deaf dragon was still strong and eager to escape. So the anthros cleared the path of the dragon and watched him bust through the 16th floor. then 15th. then 14th. and so on, until he was abruptly halted by a mass of cobras. Though the cobras heavily outnumbered the dragon (200 to 1) the dragon’s sheer strength and determination made the cobras work very hard and desperately to bring him down and detain him. As the anthros heard the struggle going on, that was their cue to swarm up to the top floors and overtake the building. The anthros bolted through the holes made through the floors by the dragon escaping and quickly caught up to the conflict.

The anthro population at this point was well over 8,000. 8,000 neglected anthros, repressed and cramped into 8,000 tiny cages and restricted to a diet of pills and water from a hose being shot at their faces, and were now free from those cages, and furious with those who allowed this treatment. The scientists themselves were astounded by the amount, and the Cobras quickly agreed to surrender, and so did the scientists.

The blind/deaf dragon was calmed down by the blind dragon, and the scientists and cobras were taken to the cages to be detained. The detainment was successful, and the anthros returned to the top floors to relish in the luxury, and feast on the food supply and bathe, and finally rest and sleep peacefully in the comfortable rooms and lobbies. Two days passed and the anthros found that there was a door on the top floor that led to another place: outside. The anthros were not told there was an outside world, or a world beyond the lab and so were amazed by the concept. A group of three female leopards went downstairs to question the scientists.

“What is out there, beyond the last doors?”
“The world, planet earth. Thousands of miles of land and sea and humans and animals and life.”
“What happens when we go outside?”
“You're on your own and must survive the weather, and avoid detection from people, especially government.”
“Government?”

And so the scientists explained to them about the government, united states, history, space, other animals over the course of the next week. All the knowledge was shared with the other anthros, and finally the questioned was asked:

“Are there others like us?”
“. . .At first no. But a few months ago, after creating the third dragon aticus abandoned this lab and went to occupy his second lab that he built in secret. Its in south america somewhere, but the exact location he did not disclose. There, many more anthros were being built, aquatic fish and mammals, insects and possibly hybrids to resemble mythical creatures and more bizarre. . .”
“Mythical creatures like what?”

He explained what gryphons, mermaids, dragons, hydras, harpies, basilisks, chimeras, centaurs and pegasus were, and that he may be creating and distributing them as they spoke.

“What is more bizarre??”
“Dinosaurs.”

He explained what dinosaurs were

“Dinosaur anthros. . .mythical anthros. . .”
“yes. . .”
“so where can we go to live? the united states sounds defiantly too crowded to stay. . .”
“Well the whole earth is crowded. but to live in private and under the radar I say south america is your best bet. . .”
“. . .
What if we can try to live among the humans?”

The cobras answered that for them.

“Well perhaps because you escaped from them and murdered countless people they hate you, but we (anthros) don't kill people, and would not do something as idiotic and harmful as that. Maybe people will come to like us, after all, we have grown to like you scientists. . .”
“Even after what we have done?”
“Well you explained that Aticus made you do what you did, and hierarchy is a powerful force and understandable. I defiantly am not holding a grudge and neither are the others. We are free, and thats what matters now.”
“Well i wish you all luck. . .”

and that was the last conversation an anthro had with the scientists, their creators. The anthro left the key in one of the scientists cages, and the anthros stepped out into the world for the first time.

the anthros plan was to start an online exotic animal pet store. They successfully did so, and “sold” each other to humans across the U.S. or overseas. Once sold, the anthros stayed in feral form and lived with their owner, building a bond as a pet. Once everyone had a respectable and loving owner, a date was set to all come out and reveal their true identities. The day came, and the anthros went through with the reveal. Many of the reactions were positive, but some owners grew afraid with the knowledge that there were thousands of anthros in north and south america, possibly further. News got out that anthros were real, and of course the U.S. government was last to find out. The government soon ordered the capture and detaining of all anthros. But the people of the US stood up for their beloved companions, and once people were educated that anthros were humane beings, and acted just as sane and humane as people, nearly everyone in the US opposed government decision, and the debate between the US and its government ended peacefully and anthros were allowed to live among people. As the anthro population grew, the line separating anthros and people grew thinner: people developed relationships for anthros, friendly, sisterly,brotherly, motherly, fatherly, and finally: sexually.

People and anthros were able to copulate and impregnate each other and the result: Humans that typically appear human with the exception of having animal features, such as ears, a tail, whiskers, eyes, horns or wings of the anthro they are mixed with. Otherwise known as Kemonomimis. These Kemonomimis along with anthros, and the acceptance of them in society and their freedom to marry and have sex with whom they choose was a long difficult battle to fight among the nation. To be accepted as a norm took over 16 years, and eventually there were just so many in society that people realized it was futile to resist this large part of society and accept and welcome them into society as you would humans. Soon, the animosity agains sex with Anthros/Kemonomimis became a thing of the past, and was a normal part of everyday life. Though anthros usually only married and had families with other anthros, many people sought out the fantasy of having sexual relations with these beautiful beings, and many women desired to have Kemonomimi children and did so artificially or naturally. But humans actually marrying anthros was relatively uncommon. Marriage and families with Kemonomimis however was very common, even desirable.

Anthros and Kemonomimis have not overpopulated the world or outnumbered humans, but rather the human and non human being population is equal now. Anthros have helped further society and sustain life and peace around the world, and for that we thank them by accepting them as a normal part of our lives.


More Specifics about the Anthros as a Species:
-Most are born with odd, unnatural fur/skin/scale/feather color or pattern
-Each anthro has an individual personality of their own, as humans do
-Anthros can only make babies with their own genus and humans. (ex: a whale anthro can have sex with a wolf anthro, but she wont get pregnant, therefor there are no natural occurrences of mixed anthros or wolf-whale anthro babies)
-some anthros are born with extended fur that resemble a head of human hair, some are not.
-fish anthros do need water as fish, but not as anthros
-anthros eat the food humans eat, so yes they will eat animals, but not anthros
